Counseling for adults
Hosparus, through our Hosparus Grief Counseling Center, helps people understand their grief. We can provide tools to help you cope and, in time, find new meaning and purpose in life.

A light along the way. The Hosparus Grief Counseling Center offers bereavement counseling to help you through grief.
Many people experience their grief alone. They sometimes feel something is wrong with them because their thoughts, feelings, behaviors and attitudes are so strange and unfamiliar. They may be embarrassed by their grief and withdraw or hide their reactions from others.
We offer the area's most comprehensive and only ongoing programs for preschoolers, children, adolescents, adults and families. Led by professionals and trained volunteers, these programs help grieving individuals and families understand their experience of grief and provide practical and helpful tools for coping with loss. For a list of current Hosparus Grief Counseling Center classes, see the Hosparus Grief Counseling Center newsletter, which is available under "Resources" on the "Media center" page. This quarterly publication lists the wide range of community programs and services for coping with loss. Or you can call (502) 456-5451 or toll-free at (888) 345-8197. Our programs and services can help. We are the only organization in our community with highly trained, skilled and experienced grief counselors.
