Hosparus patient census rises above 800; unprecedented growth
Hosparus patient census tops more than 800; organization adds several new positions to accommodate unprecedented growth
For the first time in its 30+ year history, Hosparus is caring for more than 800 patients a day, and that number is expected to increase dramatically in the coming months. The organization’s census has increased by nearly 20 percent within the last year.
"We are pleased to be able to provide care, comfort and counseling to meet the needs of more patients and families," says Marcia Johnson, vice president of human resources. "We have job openings to accommodate this dramatic increase in the number of patients served."
Johnson adds, "We welcome new applicants and look forward to expanding our employee base to ensure that those we serve receive the care we would want for our own families."
