Donate

A little compassion goes a long way.

When you make a donation to Hosparus Health, you’re helping people in your local community who need us the most. This includes care for children, veterans, and others with life-limiting illness, as well as grief counseling. Thanks to our generous donors, this year Hosparus Health will again provide quality end-of-life care and associated services to thousands of families across Kentucky and Indiana. On behalf of those patients and their families, we express our deepest gratitude.

Giving Opportunities

In addition to a one-time or recurring donation, there are plenty of other ways to support Hosparus Health and our mission. Find one that’s right for your situation.

Become a Friend of Compassion

Friends of Compassion are the friends and family of loved ones who have received care and wish to share their story with others. You can honor a caregiver, host a fundraising event, become a volunteer, make a monetary donation, or
join our Autumn Leaf Society by including Hosparus Health in your estate plans.

Monthly Giving

Join our Partners of Compassion community by becoming a monthly donor — it’s a simple and effective way to consistently provide support to Hosparus Health. Setting up a monthly donation is easy and changes can be made any time.

Planned Gifts

Join our Autumn Leaf Society by notifying Hosparus Health that you have included the organization in your estate plans. Learn more about the options for estate plans, language to use, and view our EIN.

Matching Gifts

Looking to double your efforts on behalf of Hosparus Health? The organization you work for may participate in a matching gift program. The idea is simple: Participating companies match, and in some cases double or even triple, the charitable contributions made by their employees (sometimes including those made by spouses and retirees) to eligible nonprofit organizations. Imagine the difference you can make by simply checking to see if your employer participates in matching gifts!

If you would like to see if your company is eligible, reach out to our office at 800-264-0521, or check the search box below:

Qualified Charitable Distribution

Donors can make charitable gifts from their IRA. The IRA Charitable Rollover allows individuals age 70½ and older to donate up to $100,000 from their IRAs to Hosparus Health tax-free each year. Donors do not receive an income tax charitable deduction. However, this gift allows donors to transfer money directly from their IRAs to Hosparus without having to recognize the transferred funds as taxable income. Many loyal donors find this way of giving the most tax advantaged method of making charitable gifts due to recent income tax law changes that increased the standard deduction threshold.  Donors interested in utilizing the tax-wise way of giving should contact Lisa Sanford, 270-304-2329, for specific information on how to make this type of gift work for them.

Make a Will
One simple way to give is by leaving Hosparus Health in your estate plans.  Our partner, FreeWill, has a secure online tool you can use to make or update your will in just 20 minutes at no cost.
