Hosparus Candle Glow Gala nets nearly $140,000 to benefit its Grief Counseling Center
While nearly 500 people attended the recent Sixth Annual Hosparus Candle Glow Gala, it was hard to identify some of the guests as they sported masks in keeping with the Gala's masquerade theme. Between a great meal, the launch of Town Branch Bourbon, drink tastings, the Glow Lounge and a performance by This, That & the Other that rocked the house, this year's event garnered nearly $140,000 – the most in its history.
Event proceeds benefited the Hosparus Grief Counseling Center. The Center offers families of Hosparus patients a wide array of bereavement services at no charge to them for up to 13 months after the death. The Center also offers a myriad of services and programs for the community.

Community-minded. The Horseshoe Foundation of Floyd County received an Ovation Award for their generous support of Hosparus’ capital expansion plans.
