Memorial services and special programs
Hosparus, through our Bridges Counseling Center, offers memorial services and special programs that are designed to address specific issues related to grief and loss.
Memorial services. Hosted in the fall of each year, Hosparus memorial services provide opportunities to reflect, remember and honor loved ones who have died (Louisville area only).
Interfaith Support for Murder Victims' Families Memorial Service. Hosted in April, which is National Victims' Month, this community-wide memorial service remembers murder victims (Louisville area only).

You're not alone. The Bridges Counseling Center offers bridges to help you cross through the tough terrain of grief and loss.
Annual Motherless Daughters' Luncheon and Celebration. A tradition for nine years, this event for women whose mothers have died provides a poignant opportunity for remembrance in advance of Mother's Day each year.
Hope for the Holidays. A weekly gathering in advance of Thanksgiving that continues through the New Year, this program helps participants learn about holiday grief and provides tools for coping.
Grief relief workshop. A six-week education and support program offered in area schools to students who are affected by loss.
Critical incident stress management. Teams of professionals are available to businesses, schools, organizations, faith communities or other groups affected by sudden and traumatic loss.
Grief education. Educational programs about grief, loss and healthy coping are available for businesses, schools, organizations, faith communities, civic groups and others.
Professional education. Workshops and seminars about grief, loss and related topics are offered to community professionals.
Operation Grief Relief. An award-winning program designed to help children and communities recover and adapt to losses that accompany natural disasters. Operation Grief Relief won the Award of Excellence in Education from the National Hospice Organization in 1999.
National Children's Memorial Day Service. Bridges Counseling Center, in conjunction with Compassionate Friends, joins groups across the country to remember children who have died.
