Nursing home care
At Hosparus, we recognize that nursing facility staff members are the experts in long-term care. We believe that by partnering, we can deliver the best possible care for residents with life-limiting illnesses.

In the nursing home. Hosparus offers nursing-home care that complements services by the home's long-term care staff.
Specialized hospice teams work with residents in area nursing facilities. The nursing facility staff provides direct physical care, while the hospice nurse monitors the patient's condition and consults with the staff and the patient's doctor about symptom control and any special needs.
Our team members provide the same kind of support as they do in the home, as well as helping with any particular concern about care in the nursing facility. Our interdisciplinary team members include a registered nurse, social worker, chaplain, volunteer, certified nursing assistant, bereavement counselor and other therapists as needed.
Along with excellent patient care, we offer a wide array of educational offerings for nursing facilities, including mandatory in-service topics.
