The Hosparus Education and Volunteer Center, offered as a service by Hosparus, includes many resources to help with education having to do with hospice and end-of-life issues.
Online access . Search our Jacquelyn Kirsch Library for a complete list of library resources. Community checkouts are available for most books and multi-media materials. Additionally, most titles can be ordered through your favorite bookstore or website.

Professional journals. We house a variety of hospice and related professional journals, including, but not limited to the following:
American Journal of Hospice and Palliative Care: A multi-profession journal. Publishes scholarly articles in fields related to the medical, administrative, and social aspects of hospice care, which are of value and interest to persons involved in hospice work. Published monthly. Refereed.
Home Healthcare Nurse: Published 10 times a year. A peer-reviewed journal addressing the education and information needs of practicing home care and hospice nurses, while stimulating creative and productive approaches to the changing healthcare environment.
Insights: A publication by and for NHPCO's National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals.
Journal of Hospice & Palliative Nursing: The official journal of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association. Published quarterly. Its mission is to explore and report innovations, research, and issues that shape state-of-the-art nursing practice in end-of-life care.
Journal of Pain and Symptom Management: Advancing symptom research, hospice and palliative care. Monthly. Official journal of the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization.
Palliative Medicine: A quarterly, peer-reviewed journal focusing on end-of-life care. Includes articles on novel educational methods and resources, new approaches to end-of-life service delivery, clinical research reports and health policy documents.
Social Work: Journal of the Association of Social Workers. Committed to improving practice and extending knowledge in social work and social welfare. Articles can be about new insights into established practices, evaluation of new techniques and research, critical analysis bearing on problems of the profession. Published bimonthly in Jan, March, May, July, September and November.
