Types of care
Hosparus offers a full suite of care that falls into the category of palliative care:
Home care takes place in the patient's home, or in a home-like setting.

Looking after the patient. Hosparus offers a wide range of services relating to palliative care.
Long-term care or nursing-home care takes place in long-term care facilities such as nursing homes and assisted living facilities that contract with Hosparus.
Inpatient unit care takes place on our hospital unit with private patient rooms
Pediatric care is specialized care for infants, children and teens with life-limiting illnesses
Palliative care consultation offers a consultation on pain and symptom management for hospice and non-hospice patients
Bereavement care is bereavement counseling, classes and programs for adults and children, featuring special support for patients and siblings.
After-hours care is care in which Hosparus team members provide care to patients and families outside regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.). After hours, patients and families can call the Hosparus office for assistance. When an emergency situation cannot be resolved on the telephone, a hospice professional will visit the patient.
